In this webinar, we describe our approach to developing transparent and maintainable decision models that can be adapted to local settings. We show how to develop fast, reproducible, and well-tested models using R packages, make code open-source using GitHub, and create interactive web interfaces using R Shiny. We illustrate our approach with a detailed look at the Innovation and Value Initiative’s open-source rheumatoid arthritis individual patient simulation model.
